The short version of a longer story: Alexandria had ambitious people and nowhere quite ambitious enough to work from. Blooms opened with a handful of desks and a simple bet: that Alexandria's freelancers, founders and small teams would choose a properly run space over a noisy café, if someone built one worth choosing. That bet paid off in conversations before it paid off in revenue. Members who came for a desk stayed for the introductions, the events, and the standard we held everything to — the wifi uptime, the coffee, the cleaning schedule, the way the front desk learns your name in the first week. Today the hub has grown into five private suites, a full collaborative floor, two meeting rooms booked most days of the week, and a planted terrace that has hosted more first introductions than any conference we've run.
